My theory

With the supposed upcoming Apocalypse, I have been contemplating whether it is possible, or rather, probable that the world will actually end in 2012. First, let me start off by rephrasing myself. The world is not going to end. Human civilization however, might. By people saying the world will end, it implies that the earth will cease to be. If anything the earth will just become inhabitable to us. But enough of my picky terminology...

I have heard several theories as to why the human race will die out. One being that when the planets will line up, the north and south magnetic polls will move to the equator causing the polar icecaps to melt and then refreeze on the equator. The second is similar, except that it has to do with solar flares and our crappy Ozone layer [Spoiler alert! We all go up in flames] The third being classic Biblical Revelations. But will any of these things actually happen? And if they do, is there an afterlife for our souls to retreat to?

In my opinion[opinion is fun to type], it does not matter how or even if human life will end in 2012. It is how we plan on handling it. I can only hope that this upcoming Doom will bring out the best in people. This raises the question 'What drives people to be good?' There are those who do it just out of kindness, some who do it in hopes of getting into heaven or have a good next life. Then there are some that are good people in hopes of making an impact and being remembered. But what is the point if there is no future? If the very people you impact will die in a few short years? This is the sort of thing that has been running through my mind lately. Why bother trying in school or being a good person if everything ends in 3 years, why work so hard to make a non-existent future bright? For me, it is the possibility that nothing will happen in 2012 that keeps me going. When your mind can't be driven to truly believe there is an afterlife, that's all there is. Fight skepticism with skepticism! =]

So whether it is solar flares, judgment day, another ice age, or [hopefully] a massive zombie invasion[pleasepleaseplease], Lets just hope we survive or there is something waiting for us on the other side!

Wow, I keep forgetting this damn thing is here. Well, I started reading this really funny person's blog which got me to thinking "Oh hey, I haven't posted to LiveJournal in forever." So, here I am.
Today I started making two lists which I figured I would post here [for whoever is bored enough to read them]. Here they are!

What I have learned so far...
-The people you care about the most will always be the ones to hurt you the most
-You meet the most awesome people by being absurd
-Crew allows you to learn some...interesting things about the guys on your team
-HighSchoolers are the most accepting and the most alienating people you will ever know
-It is easy to put on a fake smile for the people who need it most
-It is easy to rank people by amounts of crazy in the units of Buckets
-Dancing in your 'roos in the rain is the most fun you can have
-Saying "Roos" in place of "Underwear" confuses the hell out of some people
-You think you know a lot until you try to list it all out, then you conveniently forget most of it.

And now for the second one:
Things to do before I die
-Learn to spell like a normal human being
-Kiss a stranger
-Take one of those pictures on a roller coaster with a chessboard
-Give a christmas present to someone I don't know well
-Lick a frozen stopsign
-Tell someone I care about exactly how I feel about them
-Meet a band I idolize
-Hug a member from that band
-MChammer slide for a whole day...and meet someone because of it
-Walk the streets at night reading
-Draw on the walls in crayon
-Draw on the walls in a public place in crayon
-Leave meaningful graffiti in a bathroom stall

Well, thats all I have for now. I'll probably end up updating these eventually...no promises =P

So this is just a kinda random update-type-thing.

In chorus we are singing the song "Bohemean Rhapsody" Its quite fun.

Also, i'm bored out of my mind and have nothing beter to do than homework because my mom just got home.

Crap...i can't be on the computer with my mom home when i'm suppoed to be home....
